The soul is an intuition, diffuse, immaterial, ethereal, mysterious. And yet, it defines the authentic self. Because without a soul, we are insubstantial.
To have a soul is to possess a formidable, personal and non-transferable inner force. A latent force which governs actions and which is nourished by our experiences.
But the challenge lies in locating it and bringing it to the surface. Only then, when it is made manifest, do we know that it exists.
