RICHARD WAS AN OUTLANDISH CHARACTER. HIS PERSONALITY, HIS LEATHER HAT AND PROMINENT TEETH WON HIM THE NICKNAME OF “LE CASTOR” (THE BEAVER).
WE UNCOVERED ITS SOUL
During his boat trip, Richard added a lot of hops to his brewed beer to allow it to keep for longer. When he landed on the Isle of Orleans, in Canada, he loudly announced: “Bring your jugs! I’ve invented the CPA, Castor Pale Ale!”.
Since Richard named his beer after his own nickname, we at Ideliq have a hunch that he would have liked his custom dispenser to be based on his name too. So we created a tap that looked like a log gnawed at by a beaver.
